Subject Line: Fire Your Kid’s College Counselor

A 5% chance of getting into the Ivy league. Yep, you heard me right. On average, a college counselor charges you $200/hour for a consultation to give your teen advice that makes their likelihood of getting into Harvard almost non existent. College counselors stress that your kid needs to be well rounded and spend all of their time on a ton of different extracurriculars and studying for a perfect score on your SAT. They say this will help display how your kid is good at many things, yet all Harvard and Yale see is that they're not GREAT at anything. Ouch, do you really want your child to be mediocre?

This makes them identical to the 50,000 other applicants who were sold the same outdated advice. The only true thing that college counselors say is that even after doing all of these things, getting into an Ivy league school is up to mere luck. Which is 100% true if you follow their advice and try to be well rounded. But, if they join our course, we can give them a 75% chance of getting into the Ivy league by teaching them the secrets on how to stand out amongst the other applicants. Olympians have this chance of getting into the Ivy’s and so can your teen without being an athlete. For $500 we will teach them how to develop an olympic level project to accomplish within high school. Not only are you saving a significant amount of money, it’s worth every penny because we will save your teen from the bargain bin of applicants. If anything, the top schools will be fighting over them.

All you have to do is sign up.

Parent email #2: Here’s how you don’t ruin your kid's life.

You have failed your children. Those years of coaching sports, joining the school booster club, and showing up at your kids model UN stuff is why they aren’t going to get into the college of their dreams. Get with the times, parents. Extracurriculars and summer programs are out, accomplishing world class projects is all the Ivies are concerned with. They’re done looking for a well rounded student, 50,000 of those apply each year. How do you make up for years of your mistakes? You can sign your kid up for our course and give them a 75% chance of getting into the Ivy of their choice.

Typically, this acceptance rate is reserved for Olympic athletes, BUT, if your teen takes our course they can claim this same chance without being an olympian. We will teach them how to create an olympic level project within something they are passionate about. Examples of this would be: a top 10 substack that earns 1 mill annually, building the best bike park in the world, and discovering a new cure for cancer. If you’re thinking “There’s no way my teen could accomplish this, it’s unrealistic” that’s totally normal, most adults have a close minded view on these things. But the truth is your teen totally can because it has been done before. This is your one chance to give them that 75% chance.

Parent email #3: To GT school parents (Personal anecdotes and try to relate back to their own knowledge)

Do you believe your GT student is exceptional? Do they deserve every opportunity in life?

If your answer is yes, then I have tough news for you. To the top schools, they look like the next average applicant.

Ouch, no parent wants their extraordinary kid to be seen as mediocre. Also parents, just because you made it into MIT doesn’t mean you know how your kid can get into the Ivy league. Your information on getting into these schools is about as old as the college counselors who told it to you. Now, we aren’t asking you to add our course to your long list of things that your teen needs to do to get in. We’re asking you to scrap the list altogether and listen to the stats.
